Well, I'm obviously not going to write the paper for you, but I'll give some bits of information that I'm aware of.
Relationship between deforestation and wildlife extinction is pretty obvious. As the forests and habitats for wildlife disappear they are forced to vacate or adapt. And since adapting doesn't happen overnight, we are more likely to see the wildlife numbers drop. Without their habitat they simply cannot maintain steady numbers.
The impact on world cultures is somewhat the same. The cultures that rely on wildlife for food, clothing and trade (there still are some) will need to change their daily life or will be forced to move elsewhere. Of course if they move elsewhere they will simply deplete their resources in their new environment. The only way to avoid that is to do whatever we are capable of doing to prevent the dying off of our wildlife.
As far as what is being implemented now, it's fairly well known. Every state in the US has limits and restrictions. Like here in New York, simple things like hunting limits, fishing limits and protected land all play a part in the preservation of wildlife. As far as aquatic life is concerned, simple fishing limits play a good role. When a fish species is foreign and will negatively impact the surrounding aquatic life, it's published and noted by avid fishermen and if seen or caught, the foreign species is removed. Of course if you want more information on things like that, Wikipedia is a great place to go.

Invasive species, over population, limiting factors in the environmental setting, and to try and keep the balance in nature that humans have corrupted. I personally think that carefully controlling hunting seasons and skilled hunters are a better choice, which provides meat and hide to a family or a shelter. well one of the biggest I can think of, is it controls animal population. So many people get killed in car acidents every year due to deer . The best Hunting/ Wildlife filming camcorder?
I am looking at getting a new camcorder. I want it for personal use as well as filming my hunting expeditions. I am working with a budget and no knowledge of what to look for.
I want to be able to edit some of the footage so do i have to go with a mini dvd or do the others allow this too?
I have looked at the canon Vixia HF100 or the Elura 100.
Any suggestions or information would be very helpful.The best Hunting/ Wildlife filming camcorder?
If you are going to be out and about with your camcorder forget mini dvd it will cause you nothing but problems. to get good quality video you will have about 20 min's for each disk, also they do not like being bumped and knocked about. HDD cameras don't like it either.
so now you are down to Mini-dv or SD cards. SD cameras require less power so the battery will last longer. The cards are not that expensive, so its esy just to swap them when it becomes full, quality is ok, not the best but ok.
Mini-dv (tape) I think is still the best format. very easy to edit on your pc, down side is that for 10 Min's of video it takes 10 Min's to capture to your pc. I do not know of a editing package that will not edit the captured video from a mini-dv camera.
They are robust, handle knocks, and bumps, when the tape if full just change it, tapes are cheap, and you can reuse them or keep the footage on them.
My choice is for Mini-dv But that's only my opinion

Environmentalism because it does take into consideration the need to clear dead trees, underbrush and crowding will destroy most of our forests in less than 100 years. If we shift to the healthy forest program of conservation through logging of old wood and planting new we will continue to have both healthy forests and a continual supply of wood products for industry.

Most wildlife photography is done with a 35mm camera using long telephoto lenses starting at about 300mm and going up.
You will find that more and more, wildlife photographers are moving over to digital bodies that support the lenses that they already own.
There are many reasons for this switch, but two have to do with the large amount of film that was used while the photographer is shooting rare or unusual images of nature (high cost of film and developing). A second is, by using digital cameras, the impact on the environment is reduced. Less chemicals are being released into the environment both in the manufacturing and developing of film.

Depends on your budget! But then you knew that...
1. Look for cameras that have at least 5 to 6 mega pixel resolution
2. I presume this is not a ';wildlife in a zoo'; situation so look for a camera with an optical zoom of at least 6x. 10x is good.
3. Go for a standard brand.

For a ';simple'; camera, I figure you mean a point and click. I have three Kodak camera that I love. Each one has over 6mp and 10X optical zoom. One has 12X optical zoom. Ignore the digital zoom, that's worthless.
My Kodak Z650 has extra zoom lenses that you can screw on to improve the shooting distance.
But, if you have the funds, go with a digital SLR.
I would say any of the Nikon Brand would do well. I have a Nikon D50 and its great for just about all types of photos. I'm planning on getting a 55-200 lens so that I will have more range. I also have the Nikon cool pix L3, its got some really fun features but its a little slow on the uptake.
If you really want to move forward in photography I would say getting a camera that you can grow into would be a good chose. If you just want to point and shot forever then a cheaper one would work for you.
Get a Sony Cybershot .
I don't know what you mean by SIMPLE camera. You might consider the one I own. The Sony CyberShot DSC-H2. Lots of zoom at 12X optical, 6 megapixels, very good on batteries and comes with charger. Check Website dpreview.com
Since you're not a pro and are just looking for something simple to have fun with- I'd go with one of the many fine 'ultra zoom' cameras. Certainly a DSLR could be the best tool for the job, but they get heavy and expensive, and the size of the lens you'll need will cost you a fortune. In the $300 to $500 range there are some terrific choices for the amateur. Here are the reigning champions:

You will find that more and more, wildlife photographers are moving over to digital bodies that support the lenses that they already own.
There are many reasons for this switch, but two have to do with the large amount of film that was used while the photographer is shooting rare or unusual images of nature (high cost of film and developing). 1. Look for cameras that have at least 5 to 6 mega pixel resolution
2. I presume this is not a ';wildlife in a zoo'; situation so look for a camera with an optical zoom of at least 6x. 10x is good.
3. Go for a standard brand.

For a ';simple'; camera, I figure you mean a point and click. I have three Kodak camera that I love. Each one has over 6mp and 10X optical zoom. One has 12X optical zoom. Ignore the digital zoom, that's worthless.
My Kodak Z650 has extra zoom lenses that you can screw on to improve the shooting distance.
But, if you have the funds, go with a digital SLR.
I would say any of the Nikon Brand would do well. I have a Nikon D50 and its great for just about all types of photos. I'm planning on getting a 55-200 lens so that I will have more range. I also have the Nikon cool pix L3, its got some really fun features but its a little slow on the uptake.
If you really want to move forward in photography I would say getting a camera that you can grow into would be a good chose. If you just want to point and shot forever then a cheaper one would work for you.
Get a Sony Cybershot .
I don't know what you mean by SIMPLE camera. You might consider the one I own. The Sony CyberShot DSC-H2. Lots of zoom at 12X optical, 6 megapixels, very good on batteries and comes with charger. Check Website dpreview.com
Since you're not a pro and are just looking for something simple to have fun with- I'd go with one of the many fine 'ultra zoom' cameras. Certainly a DSLR could be the best tool for the job, but they get heavy and expensive, and the size of the lens you'll need will cost you a fortune. In the $300 to $500 range there are some terrific choices for the amateur. Here are the reigning champions:

Mom IS keeping them clean, but they are still laying in their pee thru the night. I've been towel-bathing them w/ just warm water, but it's time they were actually washed. All I'm thinking of doing is filling my sink about a 1/3 of the way w/ MAYBE a teaspoon worth of Dawn and ';bathing'; them that way - of course thoroughly rinsing and drying them.But if it's ok for wildlife covered in oil to be bathed w/ Dawn, why not ok for puppies?
The dawn is to strip out the oil that is why it is so good on the oil covered animals it is not that it is good for the always but just when they are covered in oil. It will also take the oil out of their skin and dry it up and then you will have a worse problem than the smell.

The benefits clearly outweighed the risks in this situation. At home I wouldn't recommend it as it isn't the greatest for their skin or hair. Better to use some baby shampoo or puppy shampoo. You can get sample/travel size baby shampoo for under a dollar! The other stuff would sting if it got in the puppies poor eyes.

Potty area can be a puppy litter box with poultry bedding, newspapers or puppy potty pads.
Its very important to teach pups from a young age how to keep clean and letting them sit in their waste is not it.
I usually wash my pups the first time at 6 weeks or so, using a very mild dog shampoo designed for pups. Its a good start for them to have a gentle bathing experience followed by grooming time and cuddle time... since some will grow to be show dogs and ALL need to be groomed throughout their lives.
I'm not washing them because they smell, though...

Oil from oil spills is toxic, and inhibits the animal's natural behaviors like maintaining their body temperature and breathing, damages their digestive systems, and can smother them. I imagine you're thinking of those penguins and other birds, right? The oil sticks their feathers together. Being unable to fly (obviously doesn't apply to penguins), they cannot gather food and starve. They have trouble maintaining their temperature, resulting in hypothermia. The water repellent nature of their coat is damaged and they have difficult floating on the water, which may cause them to drown. If ingested, the oil will damage their kidneys and liver and cause pneumonia and anemia.
So, if your puppies fell in an oil spill recently, by all means, bathe them with Dawn. The point of this dish soap is that it strips all grease and oils from your dishes, leaving them nice and clean. That's why it's handy for removing oil from oil spill victims, because it's meant to remove grease. So guess what happens if your pet isn't covered in dangerous oil? The Dawn will still strip all the oils from their coat. Their natural oils, the ones that keep their skin and fur healthy, supple and lubricated. This isn't the end of the world, but if you can avoid giving your pet itchy, dry skin (especially if they're a tiny puppy with sensitive skin), why don't you?
Just use unscented, simple baby wipes. Problem solved. Ta-da.

That is in our mainly meat eating society, BLT hungry city folks for the first time would be taking to the woods in large numbers with all sorts of ammo. People denied dogs or cats would have squirrels, opossums for pets. The forests would be bereft of wildlife. Outdoors men would have to take up another hobby. You think this is a possible outcome ?

A Python tried to eat a gator who didn't go quietly so they both ended up dying. feral cats someone let go in the park, they attack some campers when trying to catch them. As long as people will pay thousands of dollars for the designers dogs, or get dog to make a fashion statement I feel the animal industry will be in business for a long time to come.

Don't keep any mammals as pretty much all wild ones carry some kind of disease or parasite. Also, it is illegal to keep any animal from the wild unless you are a certified wildlife rehaber. However, if you really wanted a pet you could find a salamander or frog. They are not endangered and will not cause you injury like a bird, rabbit, fox, or snake could.
You'd have a hard time keeping a wild animal as a proper pet for the sole reason of it being wild! If you're lucky enough to have a wild hedgehog living near you, you could put specific food out for it. Or if your garden is secure you may be able to 'rescue' a hedgehog that's been taken out of its original environment for safety reasons. To do this you need to contact your local wildlife rescue centre and enquire.
If you're just looking for a pet which lives outside, how about a tortoise? Or a rabbit? With either of these I'd definitely recommend reading up about the animal first to see whether it suits you and the environment you live in.
Put up a bird feeder with seeds and peanuts. It will attract all kinds of birds and squirrels for you to watch.

Don't keep any mammals as pretty much all wild ones carry some kind of disease or parasite. Also, it is illegal to keep any animal from the wild unless you are a certified wildlife rehaber. However, if you really wanted a pet you could find a salamander or frog. They are not endangered and will not cause you injury like a bird, rabbit, fox, or snake could.
You'd have a hard time keeping a wild animal as a proper pet for the sole reason of it being wild! If you're lucky enough to have a wild hedgehog living near you, you could put specific food out for it. Or if your garden is secure you may be able to 'rescue' a hedgehog that's been taken out of its original environment for safety reasons. To do this you need to contact your local wildlife rescue centre and enquire.
If you're just looking for a pet which lives outside, how about a tortoise? Or a rabbit? With either of these I'd definitely recommend reading up about the animal first to see whether it suits you and the environment you live in.
Put up a bird feeder with seeds and peanuts. It will attract all kinds of birds and squirrels for you to watch.
It's very important to leave wild life at a distance.
Why?
Disease.
Wildlife carries parasites and germs that are life threatening to humans.
Also, when wild animals start relying on handouts from humans, they forget how to forage for themselves. This leads to nuisance behavior like garbage raiding, and mauling house pets. BAD NEWS!
Keep your distance from wildlife!
Do not - I repeat DO NOT take ANY reptiles from the wild to keep as 'pets' !
EVERY reptile native to the UK is now a PROTECTED species - and you can get into SERIOUS trouble if you're caught taking them from the wild !
I kept walking sticks all summer then let them go in fall.
Preying mantis too. They were very cool.
And I raised catepillars till they did the crysalis, counted the days they were in the shell then released them when they hatched.

i am from tennesse and alot of people will keep racoons for pets. they are really nice pets. and rats they are better to keep care of then hampsters

depending on where you live u should have pets that are supposed to live with humans, its pretty crule and needs ALOT of work

Sorry, i ran out of room so i had to miss spell boundaries. I need to know this to help in a legal matter and i have searched the states laws and statutes over on the website, and i am yet to find anything that would help. But anyway, thanks in advanced for your help!

Ideally, I would like to go to a graduate school where I could work with animals. One that has a zoo, maybe? I am about to Graduate with a BS in Biology, Chem minor. I have the grades to get in just about anywhere, but money is a factor. Do any animal programs offer stipends?Best graduate school for Zoology, Wildlife Bio or Conservation Bio?
If your grades are that good, try for a National Science Foundation fellowship. I had a friend who kept getting them year after year. He had such a great set-up (living in the French Quarter of New Orleans) that he never wanted to get his degree. He had to be pushed out.

If I force myself to be honest, I must admit that there are dozens, if not hundreds, of good graduate schools. The only one with a zoo (well, a couple of live animals, anyway) that I know of is the U. of Michigan. At this point in your education, you shouldn't have to ask. Read the journals in your field and find articles of interest by people affilliated with a university. Essentially, you pick a faculty advisor, rather than a school. That will give you a short- list. Narrow the list down further by writing to the author. If you get no response, delete that school. Since the whole design of the Ark was supernaturally inspired, don't you think the gathering of the animals was the same? Noah and his helpers spent 120 years building the vessel and had no time for animal hunting but angels (or God, Himself) did that part for him. They (or God) also sealed the huge door once everyone was aboard.

When jesus was born in winter the shepards brought him a lamb how does that work? arn't lambs born in spring?
Also Adam and Eve were the only people on earth, correct? They had three sons one died and the other to went out the find wives. Were did they find them if Adam, Eve and their sons where the only humans on earth. Who did they shack up with? A sheep?

Noah did not bring the animals into the ark. It was God, and I think he let angels do the job. What happened was a mighty sign to people that had ridiculed Noah, still pride prevented them from going into the ark themselves.
Were you to actually read the Bible, it states that the animals came to Noah. He didn't go wrangling anything. God did tell him to take the animals, but never told him to go and get them.
They must have had an entire floor set aside for provisions and all the various types of food all the animals ate. PLUS tons and tons of fresh water.
He used Wiccan spells to make them behave while they all got on the ark to be safe. And then later on the story would live on as the great flood that God made, and we would revere God.
The animal followed Noah into the ark. What about that?
God was with Him. God enabled the animals to do that. :)
