Planning a trip to seatle washington /canada where can i find whales /wildlife near the bottom of canada?

I am taking my son 2nd year college student we want to see willife and whales. I would like to stay at the bottom of canada does any one know about certain packages or day trips when you get into canada

The part of Canada you are referring to is Vancouver, about two hours north of Seattle. You can see whales along that whole sea route; the Puget Sound. The season is April - Sept / Oct (so if you go in January, no whales migrating through the channels).
