What will be the effect on us and wildlife if forests disappear one day?

Environmentalism because it does take into consideration the need to clear dead trees, underbrush and crowding will destroy most of our forests in less than 100 years. If we shift to the healthy forest program of conservation through logging of old wood and planting new we will continue to have both healthy forests and a continual supply of wood products for industry.

Srinidhi,

The following will be some of the dreadful effects of complete deforestation:

(1) First of all, all the plants and animals which depend completely on forests will become extinct.

(2) Soil erosion will increase. Thus, more and more amount of the topsoil will be carried away by rain water.

(3) There will be a considerable reduction in rainfall as forests both aid vapourization and attract clouds.

(4) It is trees that absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen. Due to deforestation, there will be a significant increase in the proportion of carbon dioxide in the air and a significant decrease in the proportion of oxygen.

(5) There will be no more wood available for making of furniture and paper.

(6) Many medicinal plants will become extinct. This will have a big impact on the pharmaceutical industry. What will be the effect on us and wildlife if forests disappear one day?
Forests provide the very necessary green cover which protects soil from erosion. It provides us wood, which is the basis of many industries like paper. And wood is also a material on which we depend for our furniture, doors and windows. The forest cover makes the air fresh by providing lot of oxygen to the atmosphere. The transpiration from plants provide humidity to the atmosphere and helps in bringing more rainfall and making the land moist. Many animals and birds live in the forest. If forests get depleted these animals would perish.
Well you see when forests disappear there will be no trees and hence extremely reduced amounts of oxygen and more CO2. And there will not be much rain of course since its due to trees that most rain occurs. And wild life will perish and so will we.
Many many, creatures will die due to the effect and food chain, we will have no more lumber, meaning no more fire, pencils, paper, ect
We will adapt to the climate change. The earth is always changing, sometimes the change is an improvement.
we all will die a very hellish death.
