Yellowstone Naitonal Park Campsite Wildlife Danger Question?

We are going to camp at Yellowstone National Park, and we need some information about wildlife danger there.

We know about the bears, but are there anything else that are dangerous? (snakes, plants, etc) If there are, can you also add information about how to avoid them, what will attract them, that kind of stuff?

We are camping at just normal campsites, not the backcountry ones.

thank you very much!Yellowstone Naitonal Park Campsite Wildlife Danger Question?
The biggest killer of tourist in Yellowstone every year are the bison. People walk up to them because they look docile. They have bad eyesight and they don't see you coming. A bull bison can stand six feet tall, weigh up to 2,000 pounds and run up to 30 miles an hour. For several weeks each year they are extremely dangerous because it's their mating season.

Park regulations require people to stay at least 25 yards away from most animals, like bison and elk, and at least 100 yards away from bears and wolves at all times. Tourists caught being too close can face a citation and fine.

I was in a parking lot viewing two bulls fighting for territory. In a flash one of the bulls ran up a hill into the parking lot and ran over a car. People were running in all directions. I could not believe how fast it moved. There was no time to react and get out of the way.

You'll be amazed at how many people stop their cars in the middle of the road and start taking pictures a few feet from bears, elk, and bison. Bad idea!

Take a look at the morons in this video who walk up to a bison with their kids!
