You can cite any source that you like, as long as you evaluate the information properly. If you've seen something that they have photographed, you can analyze the information for yourself. Opinions that they've given are less valuable.


I'd suggest relying most heavily on published books and scientific journals. They get reviewed before they see print. This weeds out most of the mistakes. At the other end of the spectrum of believability are internet sites such as wikipedia. Sites maintained by government agencies are better.
