Does anybody know where i can find a good animal (wildlife) volunteer program?

Most states have a wildlife rescue charity.


You could call your local Animal Control office if they know of one.Does anybody know where i can find a good animal (wildlife) volunteer program?
In Texas, we have Wildlife Rehabilitators. All the local veterinarians and game wardens have their information, and a list of acceptable animals, as some will not work with reptiles, or big cats. You have to carry a permit from the state, because it's against the law in Texas to possessive Texas wildlife for recreation.





They tend to live in the country, or at the edge of a suburban neighborhoods to give the animals a natural setting during their stay.
